Vicarious Experience

To live, to taste experience to the utmost, and to face life without fear for newer experience is life’s purpose.

Each of us has its own abilities and capabilities. Some people can do things that others can’t, vice versa.
Each of us has our own strengths and weaknesses. We also have our own dreams and goals in life.
And, life is a choice. A choice that everyone is free to choose.

But the question is, are we happy? Are we enjoying the choice we take? Are we really passionate with it?

And if not, bakit tayo nagpatuloy?

Well, to be honest, I am struggling of what course I’m going to take in the future. I’m scared what the future holds. A lot of what if’s running through my head.

As far as I remember, I dreamed to be a nurse when I was a kid. But, as I enter Grade 10 — it all changed. I was inspired by my brother who is now a licensed Electrical Engineering. And my parents supports me as well.

I cannot imagine myself as an engineer. Why? Well, I’m not really good in Mathematics. But, choosing STEM strand (Engineering sub-strand), gave me enough strength to stand my weakness. It gives me hopes to my dream.

This week is full of fun and adventure while learning. We went to SMC Main and visited some laboratories.

Achieving our goals will never be easy. There is no elevator to success, one should take up the stairs. Success has no shortcuts. Through this activities in our school, where we are able to visit engineering related lab — motivate not just me but those engineering students to chase our dreams and to be more passionate about it.

Whatever your plans in life, pray for it. Offer it to Him, He surely listens.
