Fighting our dreams is not easy we can experience many circumstances and difficulties, but continuing of it is a challenge for us to be more intelligent and more brave to accept and face all the problems that we can encounter. Me as a student has a dream and to achieve this dream I must study hard and believe to my self that I can do it and I must fight for it. So in this week we had a two days of immersion in St. Michaels College main and in Basic Education Department about the Engineering courses and the tools ang equipment that are related to engineering.
Last February 4 2020 we had our first day of immersion in St. Michaels College main campus. And since we are in STEM strand in wich this strand stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and our sub strand is Engineering so we go to the different laboratories of engineering. We go to the computer laboratory and they taught us how to create a application , we go to electronic laboratory, and to the other laboratories that are related in engineering, we saw and touch the different tools and equipments, some of it are very expensive because the proctor said that some of the equipments are worth a hundred thousand so we are amazed and we really enjoyed the tour because we also experience of using some of the equipments.
Last February 7 2020 we had our second day of immersion in St. Michaels College Basic Education Department Civil Engineering laboratory to test and explore the tools and equipments that are related to Civil Engineering. Im so excited in that day because my first choice in my college degree is Civil Engineering and I know it will help me to have a background of what Civil Engineering is. We are very lucky because we’ve given a chance to enter the Civil Engineering laboratory. We saw the many tools ang equipments there, and there are teachers also that monitors the machines and taught us how to operate the machines and taught us also of what are the uses of it. They also let us to use and touch some of the tools ang equipment, and they also let us to throw a questions about Civil Engineering course so that we will be guided for our college journey.
It is a big help for us to have this immersion because it helps us, for us to be prepared and to be ready for our college journey and for us to have a little background of what is Engineering all about.
Engineering is not a easy course we need more efforts and specially more time to manage all the problems and circumstances that will come up to us, but if we have hope, patience, and believe to our self then we can easily achieve our goals and what we wanted to be. Believe your self you self ang trust God plans.
